Review daily reports

Overview#

Staff and managers submit daily reports from the Bookmi app. This screen is where you read them and reply with comments.

• Filter by shop, report type, date range and keyword.
• Click Mark as starred on a good report to put it in the Starred Reports tab, where managers of other shops can read it too.
• When a shop report includes sales figures, you also see total sales, customers, average spend and payment breakdown.

Steps#

1. Open Store operations → Daily Reports in the side menu.
2. Pick a shop in the shop selector at the top. If needed, choose a report type under All Types and enter a date range.
3. To search, type in "Search reports...".
4. Click a row to open Report Detail and read the content, achievements, issues, suggestions, photos and attachments.
5. To reply, type in the comment box at the bottom of the detail and click Send.
6. To share a report, click the star (Mark as starred). Click it again to Unmark as starred.

On the screen#

• All Reports / Starred Reports: switch to Starred Reports to see only starred ones.
• List / Card: changes the list layout.
• Icons next to the type: a star means starred, a chart means Has Sales Data, an image means photos or attachments.
• Report types: Shop Report, HR Report, Staff Report, Issue Improvement, Menu Introduction, Other.
• Sales Data: total sales, customers, average spend, total payment, sales breakdown (lunch, dinner, takeout, alcohol), reservations and walk-ins, payment breakdown, labor hours and remarks.
• Time Info: the Report Date (which day the report covers) and Created At (when it was submitted).

FAQ#

• Can I write a report on this screen? No. Reports are submitted from the Bookmi app. This screen is for reading, starring and commenting.
• A manager can't see other shops' reports: managers see their own shop's reports. Starred reports from any shop appear under Starred Reports.
• Who gets my comment? The person who submitted the report is notified.
• Sales data doesn't show: it only appears on shop reports that include sales figures.
