Performance report, AI analysis and the daily briefing

Overview#

This article covers the Reports group under Insights and the daily briefing that arrives every morning.

• Performance: sales, orders, guests, top dishes and busy hours from orders taken in Bookmi.
• AI Analysis: the restaurant version is still in preparation (see below).
• Daily Briefing: yesterday's sales, tasks, attendance and a summary of daily reports, sent to company administrators at 8:00 (Japan time) every morning. It has no screen of its own.

Performance report#

1. Open Insights → Performance.
2. Choose This Week, This Month, This Quarter or This Year under Period at the top right.
3. Check Total Orders, Total Revenue, Avg Order Value and Total Guests on the cards.
4. Pick a year in Revenue Trend to see monthly revenue as a line. Hover over a point to see that month's revenue and order count.
5. Check Dish Sales Ranking (top 10 by quantity, with revenue), Order Type Distribution (Dine-in and Takeout) and Hourly Distribution.

• Total Revenue is the amount of paid orders.
• The Performance report has no shop selector. It uses the shop (or All Shops) you last picked at the top right of screens such as Sales Metrics.

AI Analysis#

Receive the daily briefing#

The daily briefing sums up yesterday's business in one message. It is created automatically at 8:00 (Japan time) every morning and sent to company administrators (roles that manage the whole company, such as the owner and company admins). There is no settings screen; the time and recipients cannot be changed.

What it contains:

• Sales: total sales for all shops with the change from the day before, guests, groups and average spend, and sales and guests per shop
• Tasks: completed tasks and completion rate (per shop)
• Attendance: staff who clocked in, on time, late, left early and missing clock-outs
• Daily report summary: AI summarizes yesterday's daily reports into highlights, issues, action items and an overall comment. When AI is unavailable, the opening lines of each shop's report are included instead.

Where it arrives:

1. In Notifications at the top right, titled "○月○日 経営日報".
2. On the channels you turned on under Settings → Notifications (App, LINE, Email).
3. To receive it on LINE, link your own LINE account. → Get notifications on your own LINE

• Sales come from the daily reports. Shops without yesterday's report show no sales (¥0).
• The briefing is written in Japanese.

FAQ#

• I don't receive the briefing: check that your plan includes the daily briefing and that your role is a company administrator. Shop-level roles such as store managers do not receive it.
• Can I change the time or recipients? Not at the moment.
• Performance and Sales Metrics show different numbers: Performance counts Bookmi orders; Sales Metrics and the briefing count daily report sales. → Check your sales
• How do I change the shop in Performance? Pick the shop again on a screen such as Sales Metrics, then open Performance.
