Overview

  • Ranks: register ranks. They are used by the salary config, Promotions and bonus plans.
  • Promotions: request promotions, demotions, raises and pay cuts. Once approved, the member's position, rank and salary change on the effective date.
  • Promotion Points: monthly points totaled automatically from evaluations and incentives.
  • Training, Skill Map and Position Missions: plan and record development.
  • Kaizen Proposals and Improvement Plans: move shop-floor ideas and individual improvement plans forward.

Register ranks

  1. Open Settings → Ranks and click Add Rank.
  2. Enter the Position, Rank Name, Rank Level (higher number means higher level), Level Coefficient and Description, then save.

Request a promotion, demotion or raise

  1. Open People & pay → Promotions and click New Request.
  2. Choose the Employee and the Change Type (Promotion, Demotion, Raise or Pay Cut).
  3. For a promotion or demotion, choose the New Position and New Rank. For a raise or pay cut, enter the New Salary.
  4. Enter the Effective Date and Reason and save. The request is Pending.
  5. The approver clicks Approve in the list, or Reject with an optional Rejection Reason.

If the effective date is today or earlier, the change applies at once; otherwise it applies on that date. A new position or rank also changes which salary config the person gets.

참고

If a training program lists a position under Target Positions (promotion prerequisite), only people who completed that program can be promoted to it. Otherwise the request form shows a message and can't be submitted.

Promotion Points

People & pay → Promotion Points shows each employee's points by month.

  • Evaluation: the final score when a performance evaluation is finalized
  • Incentive: the daily achievement rate from incentives
  • Total and Accumulated: the month's total and the running total

Use the Point List and Promotion Ranking tabs, and filter by month and shop. View Trend shows the last 12 months. Points are totaled automatically, so there's nothing to enter.

Training

  1. On the Programs tab of People & pay → Training, click Add Program.
  2. Enter the Program Name, Training Type (Onboarding, Skill Up or Management Training), Duration (days) and Completion Bonus.
  3. Add items to the Checklist. If needed, set the Passing Completion Rate and Target Positions (promotion prerequisite).
  4. On the Enrollments tab, click Add Enrollment and enter the Program, Shop, Trainee, Mentor (optional) and Start Date.
  5. Record progress with Update Progress. When it's done, use Complete to set the result (Completed, Suspended or Failed) and an evaluation comment.
  6. Once the person has stayed on, click Confirm Retention.

The completion bonus is added to pay as a Training Completion Bonus: 60% in the month you mark it completed and the remaining 40% in the month you confirm retention. No bonus is paid if the checklist completion rate is below the passing rate.

Skill Map

  1. On the Skill Definitions tab of People & pay → Skill Map, click Add Skill.
  2. Enter the Skill Name, Category (Cooking, Service, Management or Hygiene), Position and Required Level, then save.
  3. On the Employee Skills tab, choose an employee and set levels with Evaluate, or Batch Evaluate for several at once.
  4. Achievement shows whether each skill reaches the required level (Achieved or Not Achieved).

There are six levels: Not Acquired, Beginner, Basic, Intermediate, Advanced and Expert.

Position Missions

In People & pay → Position Missions, click New Mission to register the role of each position: Position, Mission Code, Mission Name, Description, Domain (QSC, Revenue, Training or Discipline), Weight and Required Mission.

Kaizen Proposals

  1. Open People & pay → Kaizen Proposals and click New Proposal.
  2. Enter the Shop, Category, Title, Current Situation and Proposal Content. You can also add the Expected Effect, Implementation Plan, Priority and Estimated Cost (JPY).
  3. Click Save Draft or Submit.
  4. The reviewer opens Review, writes a Review Comment and chooses Adopt or Reject.
  5. Adopted proposals move on with Start Implementation and then Confirm Completion (result, completion score and comment).

Improvement Plans

  1. Open People & pay → Improvement Plans and click New Plan.
  2. Enter the Target Employee, Plan Title, Plan Content, Source Type (Evaluation, Inspection or Other) and Target Date, then save.
  3. As it progresses, change the status with Update Status (Pending, In Progress, Completed, Expired or Cancelled). To mark it completed you must fill in Result & Impact.
  4. In Details, attach before-and-after photos or reports with Add file.

Completed improvement plans count toward the store improvement item of the Manager Performance Bonus. → Incentives and position allowance

FAQ

  • I approved a raise but the payslip didn't change. Pay uses the member's details at the time it's calculated. To apply it to a month already calculated, use Recalculate in Payroll. Paid months don't change.
  • The completion bonus isn't in the payslip. Check that the checklist completion rate reached the passing rate. If that month's pay was already calculated, use Recalculate.
  • Promotion points are empty. Points come from finalized evaluations and generated incentives.
  • I can't choose a category in Kaizen Proposals. No categories have been registered yet. Please contact support.

If you don't see this screen in the side menu, check your plan or your role's permissions.
