Overview
These screens handle pay that depends on results.
- Incentives: bonuses for staff and shop managers based on how far the shop's monthly sales beat the baseline. Rules are set in Incentive Config and Sales Tiers.
- Position Allowance Detail: the position allowance earned on five targets: sales, tasks, reviews, QSC patrol and average spend. Targets are set in Monthly Sales Baseline. The allowance is added to pay automatically.
- Manager Performance Bonus: monthly, quarterly and annual results for managers. Confirmed amounts are added to pay automatically.
- Incentive Carryover and Bonus Plans: payment records for carryovers, and a register of bonus schemes.
Set up incentives
- Open Settings → Incentive Config and click Add Config.
- Enter the Shop, Config Name, Effective Month, Employee Count and Base Sales Target.
- Set the Weight Ratio (Sales, Daily Tasks, Other) to a total of 100% and save.
- Open People & pay → Sales Tiers, choose the config and click Batch Manage.
- Build the tiers with Add Tier or Reset to Default. For each tier, enter the Sales Increment and the Sales Bonus, Daily Task and Other amounts. Auto Distribute All splits them by the weight ratio.
- Choose the Operation Mode (Replace All or Merge Update) and save.
Calculate incentives
- Open People & pay → Incentives and click Generate Incentives.
- Choose the Generate Type (Single Shop or Batch Generate) and the Month, then click Start Generate. Batch Generate covers all shops.
- To redo a month, tick Force regenerate (overwrite pending records). Confirmed and paid records are never overwritten.
- Check the amounts and click Confirm, or tick several rows and use Batch Confirm. Revoke sends a record back to pending.
- See and export totals with Shop Monthly Summary and Company Monthly Summary.
How it's calculated
- The shop's monthly sales minus the Base Sales Target gives the amount over target; the highest tier it reaches applies. Sales come from the sales entered in shop daily reports.
- Sales bonus = the tier's sales amount × the position ratio
- Daily task bonus = the tier's daily task amount × the daily achievement rate × the position ratio
- The daily achievement rate comes from four checks: shop report submission, personal report submission, task completion and meeting attendance.
- It covers staff and shop managers with a position at that shop. Part-timers are not included.
Incentive amounts are not added to payroll automatically. To pay them through payroll, add an adjustment in the payslip detail with the target item Performance bonus.
Confirmed incentives feed the KPI score of that month's performance evaluation, and the daily achievement rate becomes the incentive part of promotion points.
Position Allowance Detail
- In Settings → Salary Config, open the config for each position and set the Position Allowance Calculation Type to PDF 5-Axis Independent. Enter the maximum for each of the five items, or use Fill from industry template.
- In Settings → Monthly Sales Baseline, enter each shop's monthly baseline and its average spend, review and QSC targets.
- Open People & pay → Position Allowance Detail and pick the Month. Each employee's five items show as Full, Half or 0, with the Payout.
- Click Detail to see actuals against targets and the task completion breakdown.
The five items are measured from these records:
- Sales: sales from shop daily reports against the monthly baseline
- Tasks: completion of shop and personal tasks in Tasks, and shop meetings in Meetings
- Reviews: this month's reviews in Reviews against the monthly review target
- QSC: the member's deductions in Inspections, subtracted from 100
- Avg price: sales ÷ customers against the average spend target
In a month when sales fall short of the baseline × the sales gate threshold, all five items pay zero (Gate Blocked). The criteria for each item are listed under Payout Rules on the screen.
Monthly Sales Baseline
Settings → Monthly Sales Baseline holds the targets for the position allowance.
- Shop Yearly Targets: enter the Avg Price Target (JPY), Monthly Review Target and QSC Baseline Score for each shop, then click Apply to all months.
- Click a shop's month in the table below to open Baseline Detail. Enter the Baseline Amount (JPY) directly, or use the Calculation Method (Multi-year Avg or Last Year) and Coefficient to get a Preview Baseline, then click Apply to Baseline.
Manager Performance Bonus
- Open People & pay → Manager Performance Bonus, click Config, enter the monthly, quarterly and annual amounts and minimum counts and the Promotion position map, and save.
- Choose the Manager, Period (Monthly, Quarterly or Annual), Year and Month (or Quarter), then click Generate.
- Open a result row to see each item's result, amount and actuals. View shows the records behind it.
- If it's right, click Confirm. The confirmed amount is added to pay as a Performance-Linked Bonus: monthly results in that month, quarterly and annual results in the month you confirm.
- After payment, click Mark paid. To re-run a period, Revoke it first.
The main items checked are:
- Monthly: total sales across shops, patrols of every shop, 1-on-1 interviews in Meetings, and Issue Improvement daily reports
- Quarterly: seasonal menu and drink introduction reports, completed improvement plans, and Training sessions in Meetings
- Annual: promotions to shop manager or head chef (including candidates), staff growth versus last year, and retention (turnover rate)
Incentive Carryover and Bonus Plans
- Incentive Carryover lists the calculated amount, previous carryover, total payable, paid amount and amount carried forward. Confirm Payment takes the Actual Payment Amount and an optional Carryover Reason; the rest is carried forward. View Carryover Details shows the history.
- Bonus Plans: use Create Plan to register the Bonus Type, Period Type, Target Value, Bonus Amount or Bonus Rate, Applicable Positions, Applicable Ranks and dates. Turn a plan on or off with the switch in the list. Bonus plans are a register only; they are not added to payroll.
FAQ

- Someone is missing from Position Allowance Detail. Only employees whose salary config has a position allowance rule are listed.
- Manager Performance Bonus shows "Position map not configured". Choose the shop manager and head chef positions under Promotion position map in Config.
