How it works
Enquiry and initial conversation
Form, phone or chat — whichever suits. We ask what's currently causing you trouble and the scale of your business. Nothing is charged at this stage, and we won't ask you to sign anything on the spot. We can work in Chinese.
Proposal and estimate
We present a plan and rough figures based on your industry and number of locations. For industries not on our list, we ask about your operation first and then build a configuration. Take as long as you need to consider it.
Free trial (30 days)
Try it in your real environment before contracting. No credit card, and nothing bills automatically when the period ends. If it isn't right for you, simply stop there.
Initial setup and data migration
We build the configuration. For industries with an existing plan, the AI reads your menu and opening hours from public sources and drafts the setup — you just check what's wrong. We also handle importing your existing customer list and booking history: paper records, Excel, or exports from another system all work.
Preparing your phone number
Either forward your existing number or take a new 050 line. Forwarding follows each carrier's own procedure, so we can't promise how long it takes. We'll guide you through the steps.
Going live
Industries with an existing plan can be live the same day. Industries not on the list are built after we understand your operation, typically delivered within about two weeks. Review replies and follow-up start working from day one.
After you're live
Want to change what the AI says, added menu items, opened another location — you can change it from the dashboard anytime, or ask us and we'll help. Our support works in Chinese.
What's included
FAQ
Will I be chased by sales after enquiring?
No. Nothing is charged at the enquiry stage and we won't ask you to sign on the spot. If you decide against it, tell us and that's the end of it.
How long from signing to actually using it?
For industries that already have a plan — restaurants, salons, seikotsu clinics and so on — the AI generates the initial setup, so you can be live the same day. Industries not on the list are built after we understand your operation, typically within about two weeks. Note that phone number forwarding follows each carrier's own procedure and isn't included in that period.
Do we have to do the configuration ourselves?
No, we build it. You look over the result and correct anything wrong. Changes after go-live are made from the dashboard, so no technical work is involved.
Can our current customer list and booking data be moved?
Yes. Paper records, Excel, exports from other systems — all workable, and we do the importing, so there's no data entry for you. We'll agree the specifics during setup.
Is it a hassle to stop during the trial?
Not at all. The 30-day trial needs no credit card and won't bill you when it ends. After you start properly it's monthly billing — stop anytime, no termination fee.
Who do we contact once we're live?
Dashboard chat or phone, either way. Support hours depend on your plan, so please confirm that when we discuss the proposal. Support works in Chinese; what goes out to your customers is Japanese.
Do we have to replace our current booking system or POS?
No. Bookmi mainly takes over calls, messages and follow-up. Integration with existing systems is available from the Standard plan, and we'll confirm the approach during setup.
