What Subsidies & grants can do
Open subsidies and grants are imported daily from jGrants (Digital Agency) public data. Find the ones that fit your company and track them to get reminders before they close.

What you can do
Open Insights → Subsidies & grants in the left menu.
- Find: lists national and prefectural subsidies and grants that are open or about to open, pre-filtered by your company's location, headcount and industry.
- Track: track a subsidy to get reminders 30, 14, 7 and 1 day before it closes.
- Record progress: keep the status (Considering → Preparing → Applied → Adopted or Rejected) and notes.
- Prepare before applying: see the documents most programs ask for and where to export them in Bookmi.
Where the list comes from
- Public data from jGrants, the Digital Agency's online subsidy application system, imported every morning.
- The Digitalization & AI Adoption Subsidy (formerly the IT Adoption Subsidy) is not on jGrants, so Bookmi adds each round by hand.
- Municipal subsidies appear only if they are listed on jGrants. Please also check your local government's website.
What Bookmi does not do
Bookmi does not prepare or submit applications. Preparing application documents for a fee is reserved for licensed administrative scriveners, and MHLW grant procedures for labor and social security attorneys. Apply on each program's official system and always check the requirements and deadlines in the official guidelines.
Who can use it
Company administrators and members whose role has the Accounting permission (the same as Plan vs Actual).
