How to use it
- In the compose window, put the cursor where the options should go.
- Click Insert time options under the subject.
- Choose a length: 30 min, 60 min or 90 min.
- Tick the slots you want from the list of free times (as many as you like).
- Click Insert (n).
The body gets 「以下の日程でご都合はいかがでしょうか。」 followed by one line per slot, such as 「・10月14日(水)14:00〜15:00」. Without a cursor position they go at the end.
How the options are chosen
- The range is the next 10 business days (weekends and Japanese holidays excluded), 10:00–18:00 Japan time.
- Only times that do not clash with your schedule are listed: your Bookmi events (an all-day event blocks the whole day) and, if Google Calendar is connected, the events in your main Google calendar.
- Up to 4 options per day and 24 in total. Each option on a day starts after the previous one ends, so you never get overlapping pairs like 14:00 and 14:30.
- A note under the list says which events were avoided (Bookmi only, or Google Calendar too).
Tip
Connect Google Calendar so that your Google meetings are avoided as well ("What you can do with Google Calendar").
Good to know
- Only your own schedule is used. This only inserts the options; nothing is booked. When the customer picks a time, add the event yourself.
- If Google Calendar cannot be read (for example, a missing permission), only Bookmi events are avoided and a note says so ("Missing permissions and disconnecting").
- If you see "No free time found", try a shorter length.
- Not shown when you send a quote or other document "Via Bookmi".
