Look up your guests

Overview#

Guests (the screen is titled "Customer Management") is a guest book built from your reservations. Each time a booking is added in the reservation list, imported from email or taken on the iPad, Bookmi matches the guest by phone number and records them. All shops in your company share one guest book.

Bookings without a phone number (Hot Pepper, for example) are recorded by name.

Steps: find a guest#

1. Open Reservations & guests → Guests.
2. Search by name, phone number or tag.
3. Click the eye icon to open Customer Detail.

Steps: add tags and notes#

1. Click the pencil icon (or Edit in Customer Detail) to open Edit Customer.
2. Enter Tags separated by commas, such as "VIP,Regular".
3. Write allergies or preferences in Remark and click Save.

Tags appear under the guest's name in the list and can be searched.

On the screen#

• Top figures: total customers, total visits, total no-shows and total spent
• Columns: name (tags), phone, visits, reservations, no-shows, total spent and last visit
• Customer Detail: name, phone, email, gender, birthday, visits, reservations, no-shows, total spent, last visit, tags and remark

Reservation and no-show counts are counted automatically from bookings and recorded no-shows. You can also see them in Reservation Detail in the reservation list.

FAQ#

• Can I see a guest's past bookings? This screen doesn't list bookings. Search by name or phone in the History tab of Reservations (the 30 days up to yesterday).
• The same guest appears twice. A different phone number is treated as a different guest.
• Can I fix a name or phone number? Only tags and remarks can be changed here.
• Can I add a guest by hand? Guests are created from bookings. Add a booking with New Reservation.
