Import a signed contract (AI reading)

Upload the PDF of a contract signed elsewhere to manage reminders, renewals and billing like any other. AI reads the dates, renewal terms and amount.

Overview

Register contracts signed on paper or with another e-signature service by uploading the PDF. Imported contracts get deadline reminders, auto-renewal and billing just like contracts signed in Bookmi. AIで読み取って入力 (Read with AI) extracts the signing date, term, renewal, amount and counterparty.

Steps

  1. Click 契約作成 and choose 外部締結済（PDFアップロード） (Signed elsewhere) as the signing method.
  2. Choose the PDF (up to 50 MB).
  3. Click Read with AI, select the values you want and apply them.
  4. Check the signing date, start and end dates, amount (incl. tax) and auto-renewal terms.
  5. Save. The status is Active and the contract is marked as signed externally.
Note

AI reading supports PDF, JPG and PNG up to 20 MB and uses points. Only the values you select are applied.

FAQ

  • The AI read something wrong: edit it by hand, now or later in Contract details.
  • Can I send an imported contract for e-signature? No, it is already signed. Amendments cannot be created from imported contracts.
