Paper signing and revoking a signing
After signing on paper, record the signing date to make it Active; reminders and billing work the same. If you sent it for e-signature but the other party printed, stamped and sent back a scan, register that copy to conclude it. Revoking a signing requires a reason.

Overview
Paper contracts become Active once you record the signing date; reminders and billing then work as usual. To revoke a signed contract, record a reason.
Signing on paper
- Finalize with the signing method set to paper.
- Download a PDF or Word file, print it and sign / stamp it with the other party.
- Click 締結を登録 (Record signing), enter the signing date and the counterparty signer. You can also attach a scan of the stamped copy.
Paper contracts may need a revenue stamp depending on the amount; the overview card shows a reference amount (¥0 for e-signature).
Sent for e-signature, but a stamped copy came back
Some people print the emailed PDF, stamp it and send back a scan or a phone photo. Register that copy to conclude the contract.
- Check the returned copy matches what you sent (amounts, term, clauses and where it is stamped).
- On the contract, click 押印済みの書面を登録 (Register stamped copy) under Awaiting signature (or ⋯ → Register stamped copy).
- Choose the PDF or photos, enter the signing date and signer, and click Record signing.
- The contract becomes Active; reminders and billing work as usual.
- The pending signing request is cancelled, so the signing link stops working and the contract cannot be signed twice.
- Open the copy from Stamped copy on the status card or Download ▾ → Stamped copy (PDF).
Upload one PDF (up to 20 MB) or up to 20 photos (JPEG or PNG, 10 MB each). Photos are saved as one PDF with a page per photo, upright.
You can attach or replace the stamped copy later from the status card; replaced files are kept in the record.
Revoking a signing
Open ⋯ → 締結を取り消す (Revoke signing), enter a reason, optionally notify the signer by email (e-signature only), confirm, and the history card records it. The contract returns to its state before signing; a stamped copy is kept.
FAQ
- Can I delete a signed contract? No. Signed contracts and contracts with child contracts cannot be deleted.
