Overview
With an end date and renewal terms set, Bookmi reminds you of notice deadlines and expiry dates, and auto-renewing contracts extend by one period automatically.
Setup
- Set the end date in Contract details.
- For auto-renewal, tick 自動更新, set the notice days and the renewal period (1 month to 3 years).
- For unusual terms, set the notice deadline manually.
What happens
- List badges on active contracts within 90 days: "notice in N days" or "expires in N days" — amber within 30 days, red within 7, and "overdue" after.
- Reminders to company admins and the contract owner 60, 30 and 7 days before and on the notice deadline, and 30 and 7 days before and on the end date. People with HR access also see them in the Deadlines & Filings card on the dashboard (click one to open the contract). They do not appear on the HR Visa & License Deadlines page.
- Monthly summary on the 1st: deadlines in the next six months.
- Auto-renewal: at the end date the term extends by the renewal period; non-renewing contracts become Expired.
With no notice days set, the notice deadline is one month before the end date.
Track the renewal as a deal
To propose a renewal or review the price, use ⋯ → Create renewal deal on the contract. The amount is one year of recurring fees (excl. tax) and the expected close date is the end date. Deadline reminders mention this action too. See From a recurring quote to contract and billing.
If you don't want to renew
Bookmi only reminds you; it never notifies the other party. Send notice as your contract requires before the deadline, then turn off auto-renewal or mark the contract Completed.
