Overview

Open Calendar in the left menu to reach the Calendar screen. The company's sales appointments are laid out on a monthly calendar.

Two kinds of entries appear:

  • Sales activities: visits, meetings, calls and so on added in Activities whose status is planned, in progress or completed. They appear wherever they were created (Activities, a deal, a contact, the mobile app or the schedule board).
  • Calendar entries: entries added with Add Event on this screen.

Steps

  1. Open Calendar in the left menu.
  2. Use ‹ › at the top to change month. Today brings you back to this month.
  3. Click a day to open the list of that day's entries. Add Event in the list adds an entry on that day.
  4. Click an entry. A sales activity opens its details, where meeting links, meeting prep and minutes are handled (Online meetings and minutes); a calendar entry opens the edit screen.
  5. To add an entry, click Add Event at the top right and enter the title, type (call, meeting, online meeting, visit, demo, task or other), start and end (or all day), location, meeting URL, description, contact and deal.
Tip

For visits, meetings and other appointments with customers, add them as sales activities in Activities. They appear on the Calendar (visits on the board too) and connect to meeting links, minutes and Google Calendar export.

What you see

  • Upcoming Events: the next appointments, soonest first.
  • Google Calendar bar (not connected): Connect Google Calendar at the top connects your own Google account.
  • Google Calendar bar (connected): Connected and the time of the last import. Import & export settings opens Settings → Google Calendar. Import now immediately imports meetings with external guests as activities (it works manually even if automatic import is off). Disconnect removes the connection.

FAQ

  • Not all my Google Calendar events show up: That is by design. Only meetings with external guests, imported as activities, come in. Private events and internal-only meetings do not (Meeting import).
  • Import now finds 0 meetings: Meetings without external guests, all-day events and private events are not imported. Also check which calendars you import from (Choose which calendars to import meetings from).
  • Can I see other people's appointments?: Yes. The Calendar is shared with everyone in the company.
  • I want a week or day view: To see each person's whereabouts on a timeline, use the week or day view of Schedule & Whereabouts.
