Start from a scenario (recommended)
- Sequences → Start from a scenario.
- Pick a flow, click Preview, then Create from this scenario. The templates and the sequence are created together.
- The sequence starts out Paused. Click each step's template name to adapt the wording, then click Activate sequence.
Available scenarios:
- Lead follow-up: four touches over two weeks after a trade show or web inquiry, starting with a same-day thank-you.
- Quote follow-up: three touches to confirm the quote, take questions and remind them of the expiry date.
- New customer onboarding: three touches from the thank-you after signing to a satisfaction check two weeks later.
- Win back inactive customers: three touches with an update, a LINE message and a special offer.
Start from scratch
- Click New sequence and enter the sequence name and a description.
- Use Add step to set the Channel, template and wait time for each step. The first step waits from enrollment; later steps wait from the previous step, in days and hours. Zero days and zero hours sends right away.
- For LINE steps, choose an email template under If LINE fails so contacts without LINE still get an email (Add LINE steps to a sequence).
- Reorder steps with the up and down arrows. A sequence can have up to 10 steps.
- Save, then click Activate sequence. Nothing is sent while it is paused.
Edit, pause or delete while running
- Edits made while contacts are in the sequence apply from each contact's next step.
- Pause sequence stops sending to everyone.
- Deleting a sequence removes every contact still in it.
Tip
Three to five steps, a first touch within 24 hours, and gaps that start at two to four days and grow longer work well. The editor shows the same advice.
