Sequences stop when the customer responds. The reason appears as the end reason under Contacts in the sequence and on the contact's Sequences card.
When the customer replies by email (Replied)
When the customer's email reply reaches Bookmi, their active sequences end. This covers sequences added by the person who received the reply, and the sequence that sent the email they replied to.
To bring replies into Bookmi, set up Bring Gmail replies into Bookmi (auto-forward). Work addresses on bookmi.ai need no setup.
If replies do not reach Bookmi, nothing stops automatically. LINE replies do not stop a sequence either, so Remove the contact under Contacts yourself.
Out-of-office replies
Automatic "I'm away until..." replies do not end the sequence. If the return date can be read from the message, the next send is moved to 9 a.m. that day.
When the customer unsubscribes (Unsubscribed)
Sequence emails end with an unsubscribe link automatically and support the unsubscribe button in mail apps. Once a customer unsubscribes, they leave active sequences, no more email or LINE is sent to them, and they cannot be added to any sequence.
You can send again only after getting their consent again. Use Resubscribe on the contact and confirm that consent was given. Who did it and when is kept on the activity timeline. They do not rejoin earlier sequences automatically; add them again if needed.
When an email bounces (Email bounced)
If an email comes back, for example because the address does not exist, the contact leaves the sequence and the address is marked as bounced. Fix the address, then add them again (Unknown status, bounces and unsubscribes).
