What your restaurant can do with LINE (LINE integration and LINE pack)

Connect your LINE Official Account to Bookmi to link friends to your guest records and bring guests back with coupons, stamp cards, messages and booking reminders. Here is where to start and what each plan includes.

Overview

Once your LINE Official Account is connected, guests who add you as a friend are linked to your guest records, so you can reach them on LINE based on their visits.

  • LINE friends: guests who added you or messaged you, linked to guest records → Link friends to guests
  • Coupons: guests automatically get a coupon for their next visit when they add you; staff apply it at checkout → Give coupons
  • Automated coupons: coupons sent automatically to guests who have not come back, have lapsed, or have a birthday this month → Automated coupons
  • Member program: stamp cards, member tiers and referrals. Guests just send 会員証 on LINE to check → Member program
  • LINE messages: send to guests filtered by visits, last visit and tags → LINE messages
  • Booking reminders: automatic reminders the day before a booking → Booking reminders
  • Shop LINE settings: LINE Login for table QR ordering and LINE reservations → Shop LINE settings

Where to start

  1. On LINE friends, click Connect LINE and connect your Official Account.
  2. If you also use mobile ordering or LINE reservations, register the same Official Account in Shop LINE settings.
  3. Print the add-friend QR code and put it on tables or at the register.
  4. Create a coupon on Coupons and turn on the welcome coupon.
  5. With the LINE pack, turn on Automated coupons, the Member program and Booking reminders.

Plans and fees

  • LINE integration (included in every plan): friends, linking to guests, the welcome message, coupons (welcome, manual, use at checkout) and LINE Login for mobile ordering
  • LINE pack (included in Pro and Enterprise, an add-on for other plans): automated coupons, the member program, LINE messages, booking reminders and coupon notices on LINE

Message fees are paid directly to LINE under your Official Account's plan (the free plan includes 200 messages a month). The welcome message and welcome coupon, and replies to 会員証 and similar keywords, do not use your quota. Messages, reminders and automated coupon notices use one message per guest.

What Bookmi does not do

  • One-to-one replies to guests are made in the chat of LINE Official Account Manager. They do not go into Bookmi's message center.
  • Friends from before you connected appear only after they message you or add you again (messages to all friends still reach them).
