Add-friend entry points and the welcome message

Where to put the entry#

Under Settings → Connectors → LINE → Settings, the "Add-friend entry" block gives you the URL and a QR code.

• QR: save it as SVG for business cards and flyers.
• Email signature: copy the signature line into your email signature.
• Document QR: turn on "Show the LINE QR on quotes, invoices and receipts"; newly issued PDFs carry the QR. The setting is frozen at issue time, so turning it off later does not change issued documents.

Welcome message#

Set the text under "Welcome message". Empty uses the default (asking for name and company); a single "-" sends nothing. If you use link codes, add "please send the code as is". The welcome message does not use the free quota and is sent again when a customer unblocks you.

Notes#

• If the greeting message is also enabled in LINE Official Account Manager, customers receive two messages; turn off LINE's.
• The document QR only appears on documents created in Bookmi, not on uploaded PDFs.
