LINE templates are created under Sequences → Message templates. Once saved, you can use them in message-center replies, LINE sequence steps and broadcasts.

Create one

  1. Sequences → Message templates → Create template.
  2. Choose LINE as the channel. The channel cannot be changed later.
  3. Enter a template name and the body.
  4. Use Insert variable for anything that changes per recipient.
  5. To attach an image, click Choose image: one jpg or png up to 10 MB.
  6. Check the preview with sample values, then save.

Variables

  • {{contact_name}}: contact name
  • {{last_name}}: last name
  • {{customer_name}}: company name
  • {{contact_department}}: department
  • {{contact_title}}: job title
  • {{sender_name}}: sender name
  • {{company_name}}: your company name

Write a fallback after "|" for recipients with no value. {{last_name|ご担当者}} 様 becomes "ご担当者 様" when the last name is empty.

Where to use it

  • Message-center replies: Insert template in the composer. Variables are filled with that customer, and an attached image is queued too.
  • Sequences: pick the template in a LINE step. See Add LINE steps to a sequence.
  • Broadcasts: load it with Template above the body.

Good to know

  • The body and the image count as one message.
  • URLs in the body become tracked links when sent. See Track link clicks to turn this off.
  • A template used by a sequence step cannot be deleted. Remove it from the sequence first.
  • "Only for me" applies to email templates. LINE templates are shared across the company.
