■目的・概要
休廃止鉱山（石炭鉱業及び亜炭鉱業に係るものを除く。以下同じ。）に係る鉱害及び危害を防止するため地方公共団体が行う工事を促進し、及び休廃止鉱山鉱害防止等工事費補助金交付要綱第２６条第１項各号に掲げる鉱山に係る鉱害を防止するため坑廃水処理を行う者に対し、当該坑廃水処理に要する経費の一部を補助することにより、費用負担の適正化を図り、もって休廃止鉱山に係る鉱害及び危害の防止を図ることを目的としています。
■応募資格
・補助対象者
（１）休廃止鉱山のうち鉱害又は危害を防止する義務を有する者が、無資力であり、又は現存しないものについて、鉱害防止工事又は危害防止工事を実施する地方公共団体。
（２）次に掲げる鉱山において坑廃水処理事業者が実施する坑廃水処理事業であって、関係地方公共団体が実施する必要があると認めるものについて、当該事業に要する経費のうち、自己の採掘活動に係るもの以外の部分の一部を予算の範囲内において実施する者。
① 鉱業権の消滅している鉱山
② 鉱業権は存続しているが、採掘活動を終了した後、長期間が経過し、かつ、今後採掘活動が再開される見込みのない鉱山
