Questions before you apply
Will customers mind that an AI answers?
Some do. But compared with "I called three times and nobody picked up," the objection is far smaller. The AI says it's an AI in its first sentence, and transfers to you whenever someone asks for a person. You can also enable it only during busy periods and outside opening hours. Calling the demo number above is the quickest way to judge for yourself.
Is my customer data safe? Does it go to third parties?
Data is stored in data centers in Tokyo. Bookmi does not sell it or use it to train AI models. Some processing, such as AI features, uses providers outside Japan, so data needed for those features may be sent abroad. You can export CSV or Excel from each screen at any time during your contract, and after a paid plan ends you can still view and export your data for a set period on request. How long do I have to commit? What if I want to stop?
Monthly billing by default — an annual contract is optional. On the monthly plan you can stop anytime, with no termination fee and no explanation required.
Is it complicated to configure? I'm not very technical.
