Takeout orders with per-table order modes and sales channels
Taking takeout orders through QR ordering is now easier. Set which orders each table accepts (dine-in, takeout or both) and which channel each item is sold on.
What's new
- Editing a table in Table Management now has an Order mode: Dine-in only, Takeout only or Both (customer chooses). For example, use dine-in only for seat QR codes, takeout only for storefront, register or flyer QR codes, and both for entrance or counter QR codes.
- Takeout-only tables are not treated as seats and are excluded from reservations, table sharing and table combining.
- Adding or editing an item in Product Management now has a Sales channel (All, Dine-in only or Takeout only), so all-you-can-drink can be dine-in only and bento or souvenirs takeout only.
- On the guest ordering screen, guests choose dine-in or takeout based on the table's order mode and only see items for that channel.
- Takeout orders no longer mark a table as occupied. If staff seat the guest at a table, the order switches to dine-in.
- Tables in stores that already had takeout turned on are set to Both, so nothing changes for them.
- We also fixed quick price edits in the item list calculating takeout prices for alcohol at the reduced 8% rate.
