Email: minor improvements and fixes (Oct 4–10, 2026)

Here is a roundup of the minor improvements and fixes we made to Mail from October 4 to 10.

Improvements

Senders and recipients from your own company are now labeled Colleague (or You), and people already in your contacts can be opened from a link.
You can now Add to contacts any outside address in To or CC, not just the sender. If a customer with the same domain exists, the contact is linked to it automatically.
Word, Excel, CSV and text attachments can now be previewed right in Bookmi, just like PDFs and images (files are never sent to an outside service).
Threads now have Delete and Block and delete under More actions, so you can remove conversations that came in by mistake, such as newsletters or personal mail. Conversations that include an email you sent can't be deleted.
Mail and Settings > Email now explain which emails are brought into Bookmi and which aren't.

Fixed an issue where an email a colleague sent with you in CC was treated as a reply in the colleague's thread and didn't appear in your inbox.
Fixed an issue where a colleague's reply to a customer conversation, with you in CC, was mixed into an unrelated thread you had recently sent to that colleague.
Fixed an issue where, when a customer replied to a colleague's email with you in CC or BCC, the email didn't appear in your inbox.
Fixed an issue where a conversation that started with a colleague's CC wasn't linked to the contact or customer even after the customer replied.
