Guest ordering screen makes item details and search easier
On the guest ordering screen, guests can now tap an item's photo or name to open its details and read long item names and descriptions in full. Menu search and order review are easier to use too.
What's new
- Tapping an item's photo or name opens its details, where guests can read the full name and description and add it to the cart. Detail photos fill the screen width at their original aspect ratio.
- The menu search bar now sits in the fixed header, so guests can search even after scrolling down the menu. It's ready for typing as soon as it opens, and results appear at the top of the page.
- On the order review screen, guests can scroll their order by swiping over the total bar at the bottom.
- If another table is opened in a different page of the same browser, the earlier page shows that the table has changed and guides the guest to the new page, instead of showing confusing messages such as "Item not found."
