LINE online booking now checks availability by reservation type
LINE online booking now decides availability based on each reservation type. Seat totals no longer include disabled tables or takeout-only tables.
What's changed
- Seat totals: Previously, the capacity of every table in the store was added up, so disabled and takeout-only tables were counted as seats. These tables are now excluded. The hint shown when Seats is left blank on the store edit screen has been updated to match.
- Seat-based reservation types: Bookings are accepted within the seat count, and tables currently in use are counted as occupied.
- Time-slot reservation types: Bookings are accepted up to the maximum number of groups per time slot in your booking rules. If left blank, one group is allowed.
- Reservations entered by staff are not subject to online booking limits.
Impact and what to do
- If Seats is left blank for your store, availability is now calculated without disabled and takeout-only tables, so the number of guests you can accept online may change.
- Please review Seats on the store edit screen and your online booking rules.
