Sign-up page now includes an optional ad measurement consent
The sign-up page now has an optional checkbox to consent to ad measurement. You can still register or start a free trial without checking it.
What's new
- The Sign up page now includes a checkbox asking for consent to ad measurement.
- Only if you consent, when you make a payment, your registered email address and phone number are converted into a form that cannot be reversed and matched with ad platforms to measure which ads led to sign-ups and subscriptions.
- The checkbox is optional and unchecked by default. Consent is recorded only when you check it, and you can register without consenting.
- It is labeled "Optional" so you can tell it apart from the required agreement to the Terms of Service.
- The consent wording matches the sign-up form on our website and is available in Japanese, English, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese.
Who it's for
- Anyone signing up or starting a free trial
How to use it
- Open the Sign up page.
- If you agree to ad measurement, check the consent box.
- If you don't, leave it unchecked and continue signing up.
