New reports: subsidiary ledger balances, AR aging and P&L by location
Reports now includes reports for balances by sub-account, the payment status of accounts receivable, profit and loss by location and more. The monthly trend report, income statement and balance sheet can now also be compared with the previous year or period.
What's new
- Subsidiary ledger and Subsidiary ledger balances show the balance and activity of each sub-account, such as by bank account for ordinary deposits or by company. The general ledger can also be filtered by sub-account and exported to CSV.
- Accounts receivable aging shows unpaid invoices grouped by days past the due date (not yet due, 1–30 days, 31–60 days, 61–90 days and over 90 days). If the total differs from accounts receivable in your books, it shows the cause and how to fix it.
- In Monthly trend, Overlay same month last year places the previous year's figures beside each month for comparison.
- In the income statement and balance sheet, Compare with previous period shows the current period, previous period and change side by side.
- For companies with two or more stores, automatic journal entries from invoices, expense claims, payment requests and payroll journal entries are tagged with the store's department, and you can see profit and loss for each location in P&L by department / item. Past journal entries can be tagged too, with Add locations to past entries.
- A new Sub-accounts tab in Accounts & rules lets you rename, reorder and deactivate sub-accounts.
Who it's for
- Industries: small businesses and sole proprietors (profit and loss by location is for companies with two or more stores)
- Screens: Accounting > Reports, Settings > Accounts & rules
How to use it
- Open Accounting > Reports.
- Choose the report you want from the tabs at the top (Management reports, Books, Closing & filings).
