Open Platform user data now includes role details

User data from the Open Platform now includes each member's role name, a role description, and what the role can see, so connected apps such as the AI phone can show roles in Japanese, Chinese, or English.

What's new#

• User lists and details now include role information:

- Role name (display names in Japanese, Chinese, and English)
- Whether it's a default role or one your company created
- Role level and whether it's an admin role
- What the role can see

• You can now get the role description in Japanese, Chinese, and English. It matches the one-line description shown in the role list in the admin console.

- Default roles return the default description.
- Roles with a description written by your company return that description as is.
- Roles with an empty description, or one simply copied from a default role, return a description built from their actual permissions.

• If what the role can see can't be retrieved, user lists and details are still returned as usual, with only that field left empty.

How to use it#

No setup is required.
