GPS clock-in points can now be set for each location

In addition to your head office, you can now set a GPS clock-in point and radius for each location, such as stores and branch offices. Clock-ins within range of the head office or any location with a point set are recorded as in range.

Before

GPS clock-in had only one point, at the head office, so clock-ins by employees working at other locations were treated as out of range.

What's new

  • GPS Clock-in Settings now has Clock-in points by location, where you can set an address note, latitude, longitude and allowed radius (10–5,000 m) for each location. You can also fill these in with Use current location.
  • Locations without a point set continue to use the head office point.
  • Clock-ins within range are recorded as attendance at the matching location (if a shift assigns the location, the shift takes priority).
  • In Out-of-Range Clock-in Approval, you can see the name of and distance to the nearest point. The attendance records list and CSV show the name of the point used for the check.

Who it's for

  • Industries: real estate, small businesses and sole proprietors (companies that have registered stores or locations)
  • Screens: GPS Clock-in Settings (for small businesses and sole proprietors, Settings > GPS Clock-in Settings)

How to use it

  1. Open GPS Clock-in Settings.
  2. Under Clock-in points by location, click Set point for the location.
  3. Enter the address note, latitude, longitude and allowed radius, then save.
