Item prices are now entered as the tax-inclusive dine-in price
When adding or editing items, you now enter only the tax-inclusive dine-in price. The pre-tax price and takeout price are calculated automatically based on the tax category.
Before
When adding a new item, the pre-tax price was a required field, and the tax-inclusive price was recalculated from it. As a result, the takeout price could differ between the edit and add screens, and the tax-inclusive price could shift by 1 yen even when only the item name was changed.
What's new
- Enter only Dine-in price (incl. 10% tax), the top field in the price section.
- The pre-tax and takeout prices are calculated automatically and can't be entered directly. The takeout price is the same as the dine-in price for Standard rate (10%) items, the pre-tax price plus 8% for Reduced rate (8%) items, and the same as the dine-in price for Tax-exempt items.
- The tax-inclusive dine-in price you enter is saved exactly as entered. It doesn't change when you edit only the item name or switch the tax category.

How to use it
- In In-store operations > Item management, click Add item or edit an item.
- Choose a Tax category and enter the price in Dine-in price (incl. 10% tax).
- Check the automatically calculated pre-tax and takeout prices, then save.
