Accounting: minor improvements (October 2026)

Here's a roundup of the minor improvements we made to Accounting in October.

Improvements#

• In Expenses, a receipt you add with Take or select photo under Add expense is now saved as the expense's original document, not just used for reading. With Take with phone, you can also scan the QR code shown on screen and take the photo with your smartphone.
• Expenses can now record Spent by (by default, the person who registers the expense; for expenses an executive paid personally, Paying executive). The list and details show both who spent it and who registered it.
• In Expense claims, approved and paid claims can now be canceled with Cancel (reverse entry). A reversing journal entry is created to offset the original, which is kept. People with financial management permissions can also delete canceled claims.
