Fill in company details from the corporate registry database
When you type a company name while adding or editing a customer, suggestions now appear from your existing companies and the corporate registry database (the National Tax Agency's Corporate Number Publication Site and gBizINFO). Pick one to fill in the corporate number, furigana reading, address and more.
What's new
- Type at least 2 characters of the company name to see suggestions under Existing companies and Corporate registry database. If a company with the same name already exists, you're notified, which helps prevent duplicates.
- Suggestions are sorted by how closely they match the company name. When there are many matches, you're prompted to enter more of the name or narrow the results with the 13-digit corporate number.
- When adding a new customer, enter a 13-digit corporate number to fill in that company's details automatically.
- Addresses are entered in two fields: Street address and Building and room number. If the company is registered in gBizINFO, its year of establishment is filled in too.
- The same form is used when you create a new customer from other screens, such as when creating a deal.
Who it's for
- Industries: industries that use the customer list (such as small businesses and sole proprietors)
- Screens: Companies and email > Customers > Add customer
How to use it
- Click Add customer on the customer list.
- Enter the company name and choose the matching company from the suggestions.
- Check the details that were filled in, then save.
