Sales: minor improvements and fixes (October 2026)
Here is a roundup of the minor improvements and fixes we made to sales management in October 2026.
Improvements
- We added a Daily report tab to the Activities screen. It automatically gathers the day's activities, events and next actions; you add your reflections and tomorrow's plan and submit it, and your manager can comment.
- For small businesses and sole proprietors, a reason is now required when marking a deal as lost (with details for Other, and the competitor's name for Lost to a competitor).
- Deals now show Confidence definitions and suggest a confidence level based on which BANT items have been confirmed. Stalled deals, and missing amounts, expected close dates and next actions, are also flagged.
- Receipts can no longer be deleted once issued; instead, you can Void them with a reason.
- Follow-up sequence emails now include an unsubscribe link, and contacts who unsubscribe no longer receive them. After confirming the person has consented again, you can Resubscribe them.
- Emails that couldn't be delivered (bounces) are now recorded and shown on the contact. Follow-up sequences are not sent at night (8 p.m. to 8 a.m.).
- Activities such as visits can now include an Expected return to office time, which is reflected in the whereabouts schedule. We added a Today's whereabouts and in-office status card to the home screen.
- Example text in the input fields for customers, contacts, deals and more now follows the conventions of Japanese business forms.
- We tidied up the header area of the deal list (totals, search and view switching) to make it easier to read.
Fixes
- Fixed an issue where event and activity times shifted by 9 hours each time they were saved, and an issue where the calendar didn't show the end of the month or the previous and next months.
- Fixed an issue where Mark as paid on an invoice set the amount received to ¥0.
- Fixed an issue where consumption tax was applied twice when creating a contract or invoice from a tax-inclusive quote.
- Fixed an issue where consumption tax on quotes with a discount was calculated on the amount before the discount.
- Fixed an issue where emails weren't sent correctly when the recipient was entered as "Name <address>", and an issue where Cc recipients were dropped when replying.
- Fixed an issue where, for small businesses and sole proprietors, moving a deal to Proposal could create a screening application meant for real estate.
- We strengthened security.
