Tickets for categories without a printer now always print
If your store routes tickets by category, items from a category that isn't assigned to any printer now still print on a fallback printer. Printer Management shows missing assignments and tickets no printer has picked up.
Before
If even one printer was set to print all categories, tickets for unassigned categories went only to that printer. If it wasn't in use (a test printer, or offline), the tickets never reached the kitchen or bar.
What's new
- Tickets for unassigned categories also print on the first printer that uses category routing, as a fallback.
- If every printer set for an item is unavailable, the ticket is no longer dropped and is printed by category routing instead.
- Printer Management now shows Some categories have no printer assigned at the top, with the categories and where they fall back to. Product Management shows the same notice.
- Printers with tickets unclaimed for over 5 minutes show how many (the iPad may be offline or the printer switched off).
