LINE online reservations now support table selection and self-service cancellation
Guests booking your restaurant through LINE can now choose party size, date, time, and table, then check, update, or cancel their reservation on their own.
What's new
- Guests open your reservation page in LINE and choose party size, date, time, and table in that order. Each step shows only the options that are currently available.
- Available dates and times follow your business hours, regular closing days, and last order time. Late-night slots that cross midnight are labeled as the next day, and all times are shown in Japan time.
- Guests enter a Japanese phone number, and formatting errors are flagged right away.
- Guests review their details on a confirmation screen before booking, then see their reservation number on the completion screen. If a guest already has an active reservation, they're taken to that reservation instead.
- The My reservations screen lists active reservations at the top, followed by past ones such as completed or canceled reservations. Guests can open any reservation to see its details.
- From the reservation details, guests can change their phone number or cancel. When they cancel, they receive a notification in LINE.
