Security page now shows data storage, safeguards, and subprocessors
Our security page has been rebuilt. Customers and prospects can now see where data is stored, how logins are protected, how AI handles data, and which providers we use.
What's new
- A "Security" link now appears at the end of the website header and menu.
- The page opens with five commitments:
- Your data belongs to you.
- Your data is stored in Tokyo.
- Only the people who need access handle your data.
- We notify you of any incident within 3 days and publish our subprocessors.
- You can view and export your data for 90 days after your contract ends.
- A safeguards list shows the 24 measures currently in place, grouped into five areas. The areas are storage and transmission, account and access protection, data and privacy, safe use of AI, and internal organization and incident readiness. You can jump to each area from the table of contents.
- Login protection is explained, including two-factor authentication, lockout after repeated failed attempts, device management, and login history.
- A new subprocessor list shows each provider's purpose and the country where it handles data. When subprocessors change, we record the change with a date in the update history.
- An FAQ and a security contact section are included. The FAQ covers when data may be sent to providers outside Japan.
- Data-handling descriptions on other pages of our website now match this page. Data is stored in Tokyo. Some features, such as AI features, are processed by overseas providers to the extent needed for that feature.
- On smartphones and other narrow screens, the subprocessor list shows each provider on its own card.
