AI Phone can now transfer calls to the staff member in charge

You can now register each staff member's responsibilities and phone number so AI Phone can transfer a call to the right person when it can't answer or when the caller asks for someone.

What's new

  • Register up to 10 staff members for transfers, each with a name, mobile number, responsibilities, and an on/off setting.
  • Set the hours during which calls can be transferred.
  • When the AI can't answer a question, it transfers only to staff whose responsibilities match.
  • Designate one staff member to receive calls when the caller explicitly asks to speak to a person.
  • Before transferring, the AI tells the caller it will connect them to the person in charge. The recording notice is no longer read out before a transfer.
  • Use AI to check how a staff member's responsibilities are written and see suggested rewrites. The check also runs automatically when you save new or edited responsibilities; if there's a suggestion, you can save the suggestion, save your original text, or go back and edit. AI checks use points.
  • Staff are shown as cards with total transfers, connected calls, calls the staff member didn't answer, failed transfers, and the most recent transfer time (test calls excluded). Deactivated staff are grayed out.
  • The call history list shows the transfer result, and call details show who the call was transferred to, with the staff member's lines labeled by name.

Who it's for

  • Accounts with AI Phone call transfer enabled. If it isn't enabled, the menu and page are hidden.

How to use it

  1. Open the transfer settings from the AI Phone menu.
  2. Turn on transfers and set the transfer hours.
  3. Add staff members with their name, phone number, and responsibilities, then save.
  4. If needed, designate one staff member to receive calls when callers ask for a person.
