Monitor Article 36 overtime and the mandatory five days of paid leave
We added the Article 36 agreement monitor, which totals statutory overtime and holiday work from attendance records, and the Annual paid leave register, which records paid leave granted and taken. You can identify early any employees who are about to exceed the limits or haven't met the mandatory five days of annual paid leave.
What's new
- In the Article 36 agreement monitor, see each employee's overtime, holiday work, month-end projection, year-to-date total and 2–6 month averages. Cautions and overages are flagged against the limits of 45 hours per month and 360 hours per year, and against the special clause limits (under 100 hours per month, no more than 720 hours per year, no more than 6 times per year).
- In Article 36 agreement settings, set whether you have an Article 36 (overtime) agreement, the starting month, the limits, special clauses, the one-year variable working hours system, and who is excluded from the totals (such as managers and supervisors).
- In the Annual paid leave register, see each employee's reference date, days granted, when leave was taken, days remaining and status against the mandatory five days. CSV export and printing are also supported.
- Administrators are notified when employees are approaching the limits or the deadline for taking their five days of leave (employees are also notified about their own five-day requirement).
- The home screen for small businesses and sole proprietors now shows a Statutory labor checks card.
Note: Hours in the Article 36 agreement monitor are overtime as defined by the Labor Standards Act, which is calculated differently from the overtime hours used in payroll.
Who it's for
- Industries: restaurants, real estate, small businesses and sole proprietors
- Screens: the attendance screens (Labor management > Time and attendance, HR > Attendance, HR > Attendance records) and the paid leave screen (Paid leave)
- Available to users with HR permissions.

- The first time, register your company's agreement in Article 36 agreement settings.
- On the paid leave screen (for example, HR > Paid leave), click Annual paid leave register.
