Redesigned deals with board view, forecast sheet and win/loss analysis
We rebuilt deal management for small businesses and sole proprietors. Track deals by confidence, next action and expected close date, move stages on the board view, and check your pipeline and results in Forecast sheet and Win/loss analysis.
Before
Deal stages were split into many fine-grained steps, and deals had no field for recording what to do next or when the deal was likely to close.
What's new
- Simplified stages: Stages are now New lead → First contact made → Discovery → Proposal → Quote sent → Negotiation and approval → Won / Lost, and the exit criteria for each stage are shown. Existing deals were moved to the new stages automatically (deals that were in onboarding or in operation are now Won and carried over to Service status).
- Core deal fields: Record the expected close date, confidence (A / B / C), owner, and next action with a due date. When marking a deal as lost, you choose a loss reason.
- Board view: Drag cards to change stages; cards are color-coded by days since last contact. Filter with presets such as My deals, Follow up this week, Expected to close this month and Materials not viewed. Each morning, owners are notified about next actions coming due and deals that have stalled.
- Deal types: Choose New business, Repeat / one-off or Maintenance / ongoing. Repeat and maintenance deals don't use stages; instead, you follow their progress through the deal's documents (quote → order → invoice → payment).
- Activities and history: Log calls, visits, emails and more in one click, and see them in a timeline alongside stage changes and material views. The deal detail also brings together emails, documents and internal comments.
- Forecast sheet (budget vs. actual): See expected amounts, actual wins, targets and projected results by owner × month × confidence. Deals needing attention, such as those past their expected close date, are also shown.
- Win/loss analysis: See win rate, average days to close, loss reasons, the stages where deals were lost, average days spent in each stage, and win rates by owner and lead source. The deal detail shows how many days the deal has been in its current stage and how many times its expected close date has been pushed back.
- Stage settings: From the gear icon on the deal list, each company can change stage names, exit criteria and whether each stage is shown or hidden.
- Leads: We rebuilt the lead detail so you can see time to first response, number of calls, inquiry details and BANT. You can also choose Follow up later or Disqualify.
- We also added file import for deals (Import), warnings about similar deals, Suggest updates with AI (which proposes updates to stage, confidence, next action and more based on activity records and other data), lead creation from business cards, and marking a deal as won when its quote is marked as won.
