Issued quotes, invoices and receipts are now locked as issued
Quotes, invoices and receipts now lock in your company's and the recipient's details and content at the time of issue, and the original PDF is saved. We also improved document features such as tax-inclusive entry and list sorting.
Before
If you changed your company address or bank account after issuing a document, the issued document changed too. Issued invoices could also be edited or deleted directly.
What's new
- Documents lock in your company's and the recipient's details at the time of issue (address, bank account, logo, seal impression and so on). Changing your company information later doesn't affect issued documents.
- The original PDF from the time of issue (your copy) is saved and can be retrieved from Download on the details screen.
- Issued invoices can no longer be edited or deleted directly. To make changes after issuing, use ⋯ > Correct. Cancelled invoices that were never given to the customer can be deleted after confirmation.
- Invoice PDFs include the details required under Japan's Qualified Invoice System (registration number and breakdown by tax rate), and receipt PDFs include a revenue stamp box (when ¥50,000 or more is received in cash).
- Quotes and contracts now also let you choose Tax-exclusive or Tax-inclusive and calculate amounts automatically. Invoices created from a tax-inclusive quote stay tax-inclusive.
- Quote and invoice lists hide finished documents (rejected or expired quotes, cancelled invoices) by default and show how many are hidden.
- Quote, contract, invoice and receipt lists can be sorted by number, amount and date. Lists and details screens show Created by.
- Under Document numbering rules in Settings > Company Info, set the prefix, number reset and next number for each document type.
- For unpaid invoices past their due date, company admins are notified the day after the due date and 7, 14 and 30 days after it (with a payment reminder template).
- The details screen now shows a document preview on the left and cards for progress, e-seal and summary on the right.
