Set a custom opening greeting for AI Phone calls

You can now set the greeting that AI Phone says first when it answers a call. Use it to introduce your business in your own words or share a short message callers should hear right away.

What's new#

• A greeting field has been added to the multilingual section of the call answering settings. Your text is read aloud exactly as written when a call comes in.
• If you leave the field empty, the standard greeting is used as before.
• The greeting can be up to 200 characters. If placeholders such as 〇〇 are left unfilled, you'll be notified when you save.
• The greeting is saved on its own, and your text is kept if saving fails.
• When a caller switches language during the call, the AI does not repeat the greeting and continues with a short transition phrase instead.
• The greeting explanation in the help center and the sample greeting on the Bookmi website have been updated.

How to use it#

1. Open the AI Phone call answering settings in the admin console.
2. Enter the text you want read aloud in the greeting field in the multilingual section.
3. Save. The new greeting is used from the next incoming call.
